At Ripples from the Well, we recognize that every contribution, whether through donation or advocacy, makes a significant impact. How to Start Your Facebook Fundraiser:
Navigating to Fundraisers:
To begin, visit our Facebook Fundraisers page. If you're using a desktop, this link takes you directly there. On mobile, search for "Giving Tuesday" and select 'Ripples from the Well.'
Crafting Your Story:
The heart of your fundraiser lies in its story. When selecting Ripples from the Well, share why what God is doing in Uganda matters to you. Describe how your support, and that of others, brings hope and the message of Christ to Jinja, Uganda. Here's an example description to guide you:
"Hey friends! I'm excited for #GivingTuesday this year and I'm taking this opportunity to support Ripples from the Well! Seeing how God has worked this past year has been amazing! If you're feeling inspired to contribute and make a meaningful difference, I would love for you to join me in supporting Ripples' ministry in Uganda and join us in the extraordinary work God is orchestrating there!"
Personal reasons and sincere appeals are the most compelling factors for your friends and family to learn about and partner with Ripples!
Setting Your Goal:
We suggest setting your fundraising target in $500 increments for every 1,000 Facebook friends you have. This makes your goal realistic and achievable, encouraging more people to contribute.
Finalizing and Sharing:
Your fundraiser will automatically set an end date, Once it's set up, hit 'Publish' and don't hesitate to ask your friends to share it too! Every share extends the reach of your fundraiser and our mission.
